About our Social Groups
SPOT (speech/OT) group
At Let's Talk, we offer social groups for a variety of age ranges to facilitate cooperative and collaborative play. Our groups target skills including but not limited to:
Methodologies/approaches used within our group services include:
Groups are private pay tuition.
- Executive function skills (e.g., planning, organization, time management, and working memory)
- Reading/literacy skills (e.g., reading fluency, phonological awareness, and comprehension)
- Play skills (e.g., playing alongside peers, interacting with peers, engaging in pretend play and cooperative play)
- Speech production (for children with articulation disorders, phonological disorders, apraxia, & other motor speech disorders)
- Receptive and expressive language skills (e.g., following directions, using language to communicate with others for a variety of purposes)
- Fine and gross motor skills (e.g., coloring, cutting, pasting, throwing, catching, jumping)
- Problem solving skills (e.g., critical thinking, decision making, resilience)
